Money Ball

I am not a film critic, or a great one for reviewing movies. Last night I endeavoured in watching Money Ball starring Brad Pitt, I was enticed by the background of the movie and how it is based on a true story. I did some research into the man known as ‘Billy Beane’ and what he did with the Oakland A’s and it was rather inspiring. I enjoy movies which involve coaching and the concept of running a team. What he did in the baseball world was an outrage, to rely on stats to choose a team – it was a great watch and made me think about how stats are being introduced into sport more and more. In particular football…
