Nutrition at the professional level is become very important; with each individual given a specific diet regime for their physical requirements. I was at professional club over the weekend, and was able to explore their first team training facility – as they were in the stage of applying for the Grade A Category for the EPPP. Their was a great level of details of Nutritional posters all over the complex, with lots of different things they recommend drinking and eating etc.
Below is a good read from FIFA which covers a variety of different foods that Professional should eat. What I always wanted to know is how to advice players on different levels what they should eat, telling them they should eat this etc. Could cause a number of problems, and this documents covers it well.
